Gregg Arthur is an original voice who has learned from and performed with music industry giants all over the world. His warm baritone and huge range allows him to embrace an audience with a tender ballad and thrill with outstanding vocal acuity, but most of all it’s his emphasis on rhythm and phrasing that has brought him admiration from legends and critics everywhere.

Acclaimed Australian jazz vocalist and songwriter Gregg Arthur has enjoyed an international career including residing and performing in the USA, touring Singapore, China and Japan and regarded in his home country as Australia’s premier jazz vocalist.
2025 marks the year Gregg is making the UK his home with plans to perform in jazz clubs and theatres there and in Europe, presenting to a whole new audience his unique take on jazz classics as well as his original songs.
Career highlights include Las Vegas residencies with Vincent Falcone, Frank Sinatra’s musical director, a long-term residency at Herb Alpert’s Vibrato Jazz Grill in Bel Air, Los Angeles, performances at the Sydney Opera House, State Theatre Sydney, City Recital Hall in Sydney, Hamer Hall and Melbourne Recital Centre, and Singapore’s Victoria Theatre. In 2018, he opened the Melbourne International Jazz Festival for Branford Marsalis, and in 2023 -24 Toured 22 concerts around Australia with James Morrison and John Morrison’s Swing City Big Band. He is known for his refined vocal style, lyrical phrasing and charismatic stage presence, bringing timeless jazz standards to life alongside beautifully crafted original songs.
Gregg has been praised internationally for his original smooth vocal style and phrasing by Tony Bennett in the United States, Michael Parkinson on the BBC in the UK, Don Heckman in the LA Times, Eric Myers from the Weekend Australian, and John Shand from the Sydney Morning Herald.
