My favourite jazz standards from The Great American Songbook on stage with my favourite jazz musicians. Featuring brilliant performances by my dear friends Peter Locke on piano, Craig Scott on double bass, Andrew Dickeson on drums, Craig Walters on tenor sax and Charlie Meadows on guitar. On this live album recording engineer Mike Bainbridge has captured a moment in time. It's an extraordinary sound that could be mistaken for a studio album, but it was recorded on a vast stage at Sydney's City Recital Hall in Angel Place with a massive and enthusiastic audience. The night was also filmed by Australian Theatre Live.
